Last days in Jurmala...

Hellooo darlings!

Three months in Jurmala are over for now. It was great and unforgettable time, where we have got a lot of new friends, have experienced ourself, saw a new country, got a lot of good emotions. Of course, the last day was quite hard, because of farewells and tears, with that not long time we had got used to this place and people. Three last days in that college was held graduation, many of our friends were finished their learning, we had congratulated them.

In last days we had met so many good people, also, every year in June there is the opening of the season, it means many people on the beach, loud music, dancing and so one. Last days were the best :)))

Soo, It was really wonderful and unforgettable time in Jurmala. I'm happy, that I get with Erasmus in that place and I believe that every country have its own fantastic places, beautiful nature, funny and helpful people. I'm sure that I will come in Jurmala one day just for a visit friends here. If you ever have a chance to go with Erasmus in some country, it does not matter which country it will be, don't think, grab this opportunity and try to get there, because this time is really unforgettable and great, to try yourself and to get new experiences.

Labdien our friends!!!

We want to talk about our big cleaning in Riga. It was SocialErasmus Big Cleanup 2012 at 21 aprill. We were come by bus to our place, where we cleaned. We had meet much students from many countries, who studied in Latvia. It was interesting and funny to clean, we talk about our countries, about out culture and so one. We had cleaned a lot of garbage and after cleaning we were going by bus to open air kitchen. There was Uzbekistan traditional food - plov and salty cucumbers for eating. After, when we ate, we went to play some games, where we could win popcorn :D After all of this,  I (Viktoria) was drawing big big big painting and when I was finished, I and Sveta and girls from Lithuania left from park (where was all this) to home. Crazy days in Jurmala :))

Hellooo every one! Sorry, that I'm writing too late, there is soo fast life. Every day we were in practice and after going somewhere, to the sea or Riga...we thought that we have so much time, but this time was running so fast, already is June...and soon we need to go back to home...:(

But I want to tell a little about life in Jurmala. :) We came here with Viktoria Filip  in April. Then was pretty cold here, but just for walking and communicating with people it was ok.  The sea is  sooo beautiful and the sand is white and light in Jurmala. Often we went to the beach all together with other students and being there, communicating, laughing and swimming. At 22 April we, as hot northern people, had opened swimming season with 4 another girls from Lithuania and Latvia, it was crazy, but funny :)))

People is friendly and helpful here, so it wasn't problem to find a common language. 

Also, as tradition, we had an International Dinner with all Erasmus students, where we had to say about our country a little acquaint our national food and let to try it. We made sour cabbage, boiled potatoes and blood sausages, 

other had tried and comment.

Aahh...there is really good, I like this place, particularly this sea and to be here as tourist. After, when 

everyone is going so acquaintance for us, it is really hard to say goodbye...

I had three practices - Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry&Hematology and Cytology&Histology. 

Laboratories are a little older than in Estonia, but there is a lot of interesting things and also, very interesting is 

to try some old method. Especially, the most interesting was Pathology, because there were a lot of 

pathological persons, what I may not see in Estonia, but in Latvia I had seen. Also, there were very 

helpful people, who had got me see an autopsy and be on one operation. It was really good 

experience for me.

Also is very beautiful Riga at night, a lot of street musicians and other entertainments. 

Only I can say, I love this place and I will come back here surely.

Me väga vabandame, et esiteks kirjutame nii hilja ja teiseks - eesti keeles :)
Alustaks meie blogi sellest, kuidas me saabusime Jurmalasse. Ma saabusin Läti nädala varem, kui Svetlana. Mind kohtas Läti omane koordinaator - Aiga, kes hiljem ka seletas kuhu ja kuidas saaks sõita ja mis transpordiga. Oli päris hea ilm, aga ikka oli veel külm.. ja mis räägida, sest oli ju alles 22 märts :)
Kohe, kui sattusin ühikasse, mulle külla tulid poisid, kes olid eriti külalislahked ja kutsusid mind tähistama nende mingi "tähtsa" päeva :D
Ma sätestasin oma asju kappi ja kohe sellel päeval hakkasin tegutsema: ostsin endale lõuandid ja akrüll värvid, et joonistada midagi sellist, mis meenutaks mulle Jurmalat.

Jurmala päekesetõus ehk loojang ühel pildil

Enne seda kui ma asusin praktikale, ma puhkasin Jurmalas 4 päeva.. Uurisin uusi kohti, käisin mere ääres, tegin sporti :D :D
Kui algas SEE päev, kui ma pidin minema praktikale - minu järgi tuli Aiga, kes tutvustas mind tulevase kolleegidega. Nii algaski minu praktika.
Nädala hiljem saabus Läti Sveta, keda ma väga ootasin, kuna siin oli natuke igav.... :) Me tõstsime mööblit ümber, et oleks rohkem koduselt.
Siin on päris ühiselamu: siin koridori peale on üks köök, 3 WC-d ja 2 dušši. Mõnikord siin köögis külmkappist oli ka varastatud sinu sööki.. aga mis räägida?!? See on ju päris ühikas :D Muideks, siin sa pidid tulema tagasi ühikasse kell 23:00, alates 1 maist kell 24:00.. Kõige hullem oli see, kui sa jäid hiljaks, ja siis sinu peale oli väga kuri komandant, kes juba magas. Ja siis me üritasime teha selliseid näod, et ta laseks meid sisse :D
